Qualcomm is planning to release a new powerful chipset – SND 830. After that, MediaTek is reported to be working on Helio X30. This chipset is said to be stronger than the new one from the US company. And now, it’s Samsung’s turn. This Korean giant is about to bring the next generation of Exynos to the market soon – Exynos 8895. And this is just like a respond from Samsung to those two rivals.

The two latest chipsets from Samsung are Exynos 7420 and 8890. They are all built with 14nm technology. Now, the company will use the 10nm technology with the new chipset 8895. This size is the same with SND 830 and Helio X30. Exynos 8895 will not only increase the performance but also reduce the power consumption. This new chipset will come with an octa-core processor.

Samsung new chipset will probably pack four 4GHz high-performance cores and four 2.7GHz low-power Cortex-A53 cores. According to some websites, even though be clocked at 4GHz, 8895 SoC consume the power as much as 3.6GHz SND 830 chipset. It seems like that besides Helio X30, SND 830 has to deal with another strong competitor.
