Exynos 8890: scoring 103,692 Antutu Benchmark: real beast
Exynos 8890 – Samsung’s new chip set – has been talked about quite frequently and received pretty good critics so far. To prove it capability, Exynos 8890 just made it through Antutu Benchmark test, with a whooping 103,693 points, leading ahead Kirin 950 by Huawei (with 79K points), which powers the upcoming Huawei Mate 8 flagship. Seems like we are going to have an intense competition between the Galaxy S7 and Huawei Mate 8 next year.
Samsung has taken it very seriously when they mass produced Exynos 8890 chip set for the high-end Galaxy S7. The chip is expected to bring a number of premium features for the device next year. Manufactured by 14 nm FinFET process, the latest S amsung Exynos chip has potential to be energy efficient. Some Samsung Galaxy S7 specs we know for now include but are not limited to: 4GB RAM, 4K display, a 16MP camera or above. Also, the mobile will be coming with powerful 14 cores for heavy gamer!
In case you don’t know it yet, Galaxy S7 is also set to come in another version, powered by another chip set – Snapdragon 820 by Qualcomm, which is not less powerful than the Exynos 8890. This even gives us users more choices when considering buying flagship smartphone like Samsung Galaxy S7.
Samsung Galaxy S7: beast specs for an equivalent of price
We can totally expect a Samsung Galaxy S7 release in first half of 2016. Although Samsung has said no word about the Galaxy S7 price, for what it is going to offer, we are predicting a price tag at least USD 500 or above. Still, there are some cool features we hope to see in this beast to make it even more complete, like water proof and a slim design.
