Essential PH-2 to sport better camera setup, 6GB RAM and more!

In 2017, Essential launched their first handset in the smartphone community: Essential PH-1. In terms of the design, this Essential phone arrived with a unique body made of ceramic. Furthermore, they were the first manufacturer to put a notch on display, even before Apple’s ‘screen horns’ on the iPhone X. However, despite having great features for a mid-range handset, the Essential PH-1 still lacks one thing: the photography system.

In a recent sharing, Essential stressed that they have taken notice about the camera complained. Moreover, they are now working on the way to improve it. “In general, one thing that we got hit hard with was the quality of our camera, and we’re really looking forward to improving that with our next-gen, making sure that we’re listening to our customers and their pain points… We’re going to make it better for you” – Essential Head of industrial design shared.

On the other hand, Essential PH-2 specs sport a 5.99-inch LTPS IPS LCD screen with the resolution of 1312 x 2560 pixels. Under the hood, the Essential Phone is going to run on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset. Furthermore, the Essential handset offers 6GB RAM and 128GB ROM. There is also a microSD card which can expand up to 256GB. Moreover, Essential PH-2 camera includes a dual 16MP rear snapper. On the contrary, the Essential smartphone equips an 8MP selfie lens. How about the operating system? The Essential handset is going to run on Android 8.1 Oreo. Lastly, the Essential Phone is going to come with a non-removable Li-Ion 4000mAh battery. Besides, there is also wireless charging and four magnetic connectors on the back which supports ultra-fast 15 minutes charge.

Essential PH-2 release date and price
