It is true that language is about communicating. Many learners admitted that they have problem with daily conversation. Even though they are good at vocabulary, they found it awkward or hard to express the idea clearly, fast and naturally. Duolingo Bots somehow can help you get used to and practice daily conversation. However, the shortcoming of bots is users practice spoken language through texting, not speaking. So in the near future, we hope that Duolingo could add another feature that can improve learners with conversational speaking skill. So, have you ever tried this new feature of Duolingo.
