Dual-SIM iPhones to arrive this year with the latest iOS 12 version!

While many smartphone brands have released their own dual-SIM devices, Apple keeps going with their single SIM iPhones. However, the much-requested feature is reportedly making its debut in the upcoming iPhone 2018 series. Notably, at least one of the three new iPhone devices is going to have Dual-SIM support. Previously, the Dual-SIM iPhones was still a rumour on various websites.

However, we finally have a sort of confirmation about the news from Apple themselves today. In details, some code included in iOS 12 developer beta 5 have revealed some interesting information for us. As you can see from the screenshot here, there is a component of the system that generates diagnostic reports. Moreover, they also include new references to “second SIM status” and “second SIM tray status”.

Besides, another part of the code talks about a “dual sim device”. As a result, we can believe that this is a solid proof that Apple is considering building the necessary software support for the dual-SIM feature. On the other hand, the mention of a second SIM tray implies that there are going to be two physical slots. Without a doubt, the new Dual-SIM support feature is going to be quite useful for all users, mostly those who travel a lot. You can now keep using the account from their home country alongside cheaper plans from the place they’re visiting.
