Diablo 4 to be introduced at BlizzCon 2016?

BlizzCon is planned to be held on November 4. In the weeks before the event kick-off, there have been several speculations about what’s in store for Blizzard fans. One of them stands out: Diablo 4 reveal. Many have hinted that a revelation of the new Diablo game is very likely. Although some believe that it would be just a remaster version of Diablo 4 incoming, there have been some proof, although quite vague, about the introduction of the new Diablo installment.

One very interesting evidence, although it seems a little too speculative, is from a promotional gift to a Youtuber. Rhykker, the Youtuber in question, explained in one of his video that the promo gift included a few die, one of which a D4 – a die with 4 sides. This may seem like a cause for celebration for fans, but it turned out that it was just a misprint from Blizzard. Instead of the three “1”s at the bottom of the sides per normal, there were only two “1”s and one “4”. This seems to be intentional from Blizzard, as it reflects the date of BlizzCon 2016 – November 11! Quite clever from Blizzard!

Another piece of evidence, much more reliable, is the fact that both David Brevik and Bill Roper has been spotted at the California office of Blizzard ahead of BlizzCon. Brevik was the leader of Diablo 2, which is regarded as the best installment, and Roper is a previous vice president of Blizzard North, and also the senior producer of Diablo 2. However, just days ago, Brevik has tweeted that he is not working on a Diablo project for now. It is kind of a bummer, but all hope is not lost for Blizzard fans. Everything will be officially revealed on November 4.
