On August 30, Cherry Mobile, the young mobile producer company, celebrates its 5th birthday by releasing a limited edition of its products. One of the special packages this time is the Cherry Cosmos One. With its configuration, fans of this Filipino company will have a good time enjoying all the interesting features it has: large display with HD resolution, Corning Gorilla Glass as the screen protector, powerful hardware, and the latest version of Android system.

At the first glance, Cherry Mobile Cosmos One has a back cover which looks like leather. Indeed it is a plastic cover with leather texture like that of a Galaxy Note 3. The camera and led flash group together in a metallic area, which enhances the look of the back cover. The phone has curved edges for easy holding. The right side of the phone is the camera button and other functional ones. 3 similar key buttons of Android system are also found at the bottom of the screen. Cosmos One has a large screen with the size of 5.5’’ , HD resolution of 720 x 1280 p and pixel density of 267 ppi.

For Hardware, Cherry Mobile Cosmos One is equipped with MediaTek MT6592M octa core processor at the speed of 1.4GHZ. With this multithreading processor and a Mali-450 GPU, the phone can run almost all compatible games and applications smoothly. However, there have been comments saying that multitasking is not very great if large applications are running at the same time.
Videos are said to play in great quality, with enhanced voice and audio. Android Kitkat 4.4.2 as the operating system will also supply users with a wide range of applications and interesting features. Additionally, the phone has an internal storage of 8GB which can be extended up to 64GB through memory card. The phone has a good battery capacity of 2400mAh, which can last enough for a day using under normal consumption.

The camera of Cosmos One is a dual set. The front one is an 8MP camera while the main one is a 14MP camera. Led flash and illuminated sensor are also equipped.
