Cheapest 5-inch smartphone has just been released- Swipe Elite Plus. The phone is a product of Swipe- a California-based company. With an 8MP selfie shooter as well as the cheap price, this handset definitely stands out in the 5-inch smartphone segment.

Swipe Elite Plus: the cheapest 5-inch smartphone

Swipe Technologies- a California-based company- has just launched its cheapest 5.0-inch smartphone in the 5-inch smartphone segment. It is Swipe Elite Plus. The phone has contoured edges around the corners and a back made of polycarbonate. The 5-inch Full HD display is scratch- resistant thanks to Dragontrail Glass. If we notice, the Swipe specs are quite similar to those from Motorola Moto G4 Plus, but with a half price. And this probably the first smartphone sporting a full HD screen in such that low price.

Under the hood, there is a Qualcomm Snapdragon Octa – Core 615 processor paired with 2GB of RAM. The phone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with Freedom-OS on top. As for the camera, an 8MP selfie snapper is housing on the front of the phone. While on the other smartphones, the front-facing camera is usually from 2MP to 8MP. This is one of the special features of this phone. You can also find a 13MP primary cam with auto-focus and LED flash on the back.

In addition to the memory, Plus packs a 16GB of internal storage. If you don’t think this ROM is enough, you can expand it to 64GB via a microSD card. Besides, it also offers a cloud storage up to 100 GB. In terms of Swipe Elite Plus battery, it’s backed with 3050 mAh capacity. One minus of the device is that it doesn’t have a fingerprint scanner.

Swipe Elite Plus price and release date

Swipe has always been very competitive in the price tag. Its two previous smartphones come with really low prices. Swipe Elite Note price is about $120, and Swipe Elite 2 has the price of $67. And now, with Swipe Elite Plus, the company continue bringing its cheapest 5-inch smartphone. The Swipe Elite Plus price comes at about $104. The handset will come in 2 versions:  Gold and Black. The Swipe Elite Plus release date was on June 6.
