CES 2016: Top technology devices launched in the event
CES is one huge technology event where many producers showcased their best flagships and innovations. This time, at CES 2016, we were introduced with many interesting ideas, some of which are going to be wrapped up in here…
1. Activeon Solar X: Action camera that has solar-powered battery
This action camera Solar X by Activeon can be charged up to 70% in just 30 minutes exposing under direct sunlight. In case you go on adventures in areas where electricity is not available, this Action camera is life saver thanks to its ability to work for a long time. Activeon S0lar X has a CMOS 16MP camera with f/2.4 and capable of 4K video. The machine comes with a 2” touch screen and can be connected to other mobile devices through Wi-fi so that users can have better convenience using it
2. LeTV Le Max Pro
In CES 2016, LeTV also made an official launched for their Snapdragon 820 beast smartphone. This is also the first smartphone in the world to feature premium Snapdragon 820 chip set. Spec-wise, Le Max Pro is equipped with many top features for smartphones: 4GB RAM, 21MP cameram, Snapdragon Sense ID (the ultrasonic based fingerprint biometric authentication technology), which is more reliable and secure than current capacitive-based fingerprint technologies.
3. ODG R7 smart glass Snapdragon 805
ODG R7 is like a Google Glass. It is actually a pair of sun glasses with an attached screen for you to see and read when doing other chores. ODG R7 uses Snapdragon 805 chip set, together with customized Android OS. ODG R7 is now targeted for selective customers who have special needs for work, or even 3D movie. Therefore, ODG R7 price is pretty expensive, up to $2750 as of now.
4. Sony TV – 4K HDR
This year, Sony brought to CES 2016 not one, but 3 new premium TV. Though all of them are more focused about the display quality rather than design, they still keep the good reputation with very classy appearance. Among the three, Sony X94D with 75” display is the most premium of all, and also the flagship Sony wanted to show off with the exhibition. The TV features a whooping 4K HDR display with over the top quality.
5. iCoptech 3D printer
Also at CES 2016, ICOP Technology showcased a handy 3D printer, with high quality product for a price of around USD 400. ICOP Technology is a producer who specialized in computers, automatic systems etc…This is their first ever attempt trying to produce a 3D printer.
6. Android refrigerator by Samsung
This time, Samsung brought to CES 2015 a fridge + Android tablet hybrid. This is a brand new idea for their next smart device. The door of the fridge features a super huge display with Android-typical function button. Talking about some features of this unique fridge, you can search food by voice, sort date and have menu suggestion with the available ingredients filled inside. Also, this smart fridge will remind you of the expiration date of certain food, so that you know which one should be cleared out first.
