Tesla is known for the leading company in the electric car market. However, there is a possibility that the company will enter into smartphone market too. Recently, a video showing the 3D render of Tesla smartphone has surfaced online. How does it look? Let’s find out.

Tesla smartphone – Looks stunning with bezel-less design …….

Before going further, we would like to tell you that Tesla has just launched a power bank with a capacity of 3350 mAh. The Litium-ion cell inside is the same to the one inside the battery powering the company’s electric car. This is an interesting news. Smartphone users now can have a device from a well-known automotive brand. It doesn’t stop there. Recently, a Tesla smartphone in 3D render just surfaced in the internet.

Actually, as we can see, it looks impressive with a bezel-less design, the hot trend in the smartphone industry nowadays. The display have curved sides, similar to the one found on Galaxy Note 8. Besides, there are stereo speakers on the front sides which will produce decent sound to impress music lovers. Go to the back side. We can see two cameras in a vertical arrangement with dual LED flash sitting between the two cameras. In addition, there is a Tesla logo just above the cameras. On the right side of the phone, there are power button and volume rockers.

Unfortunately, none of the specs are mentioned in the video. However, many sources say that this phone would run Android 8 Oreo. It means that the phone would be launched one day in 2018. To compete with other premium flagships, people expect the phone would be packed with great specs. One of which is the Snapdragon 845 chipset that become a standard of next year’s flagships. The chipset should be paired with 6GB or even 8GB RAM. In addition, the display measures at least 5.5 inch that supports Quad HD+ resolution. For storing data, it will provide at least 128GB internal storage (expandable).

Tesla smartphone – Price and launch

Until now, we still haven’t heard any confirmation from Tesla in relation to this phone. However, since the company has launched a power bank, there might be a possibility that Tesla will expand its business to smartphone market. Hopefully the phone will be launched soon in 2018 for no more than $800. Let’s wait and see.
