BlackBerry Rio ‘Z20′ specs and images

Blackberry, which have just revealed Blackberry Classic, and now, there are some images and specs of their upcoming phone, codenamed: Rio Z20. This mid-range smartphone is expected to debut the market in February 2015 in black or white color scheme. And its phone is expected to be priced at $300 (PHP 13410).

Blackberry Z20 features 5” 720p touchscreen as well as 9.5mm thick body. Moreover, its phone comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 MSM8960 clocked at 1.5GHz dual-core Krait CPU and 2GB of RAM. It also reports 8MP main camera, 2MP front-facing shooter, and 2,800mAh non-removable battery.

Connectivity options of the device include penta-band LTE, Wi-Fi b/g/n, and Bluetooth 4.0 with DLNA and Miracast. The device will pack dual microphones.

There are some noticeable design differences between the Rio and the Z3. The Rio has an elongated glass panel for the camera. The speaker port is also larger on the Rio than on the Z3. Otherwise, the ornamental design of both devices is quite familiar.

The Rio is the first plan of Blackberry for new year 2015’s launch. While the rest is planning to launch on the first half of 2015, include: Porsche Design P’9983, Passport, Classic. It means that no other smartphones, except for the Rio will be published in Q1 or Q2 of 2015. We’ll keep an eye out for more details on the device going forward.
