Blackberry Oslo: the return of the Giant with Snapdragon 810, 13MP and signature design?
Several days ago, a gallery of live photos showcasing the unannounced BlackBerry Oslo made it everywhere over the internet. Rumors are indicating that the smartphone is a look-alike of Blackberry’s previous Blackberry Passport. This is the first time we’re getting a look at the actual device, though the Canadia company unveiled few renders earlier back in April.
BlackBerry Oslo: a replica in design of the company previous Blackberry Passport device?
BlackBerry Oslo features slightly round corners. The device goes with a metal frame and the back is covered by textured rubber. The Blackberry smartphone signature, 3-row QWERTY keyboard will obviously appear in this flagship.
Blackberry Oslo Specs
In terms of specs, Blackberry Oslo packs a square-ish, 1440 x 1440 pixels display. The device is powered by Snapdragon 801 quad-core processor and 3GB of RAM. It also sports beautiful 13MP rear camera and 3,450 mAH battery.
Well, at the time when we already have smartphones with powerful 4GB RAM like Asus Zenfone 2 and Xiaomi Mi Note Pro vs huge 4,000mAH battery (or even more) like the Lenovo K80 and Vivo X5 Pro, 3GB RAM and 3,450 mAH don’t sound really appealing. But to be really fair, such combination that Blackberry Olso carries is quite impressive. If nothing changes, by the time Blackberry Olso launch date, it could attract huge attention from consumers thanks to the famous brand names going together with unique design and good specs.
It’s said that the BlackBerry Oslo should be officially announced later this month, on June 30, and could be released shortly after that in Europe and Asia. And for now, we know no more about whether it will arrive in Philippines or not; as well as the Blackberry Oslo price when released. Hopefully it will offer a soft price tag so that more people can experience this Giant’s return after a long time being silent.
