BlackBerry KeyTwo appears online
Based on the latest updates, BlackBerry brand is enjoying its new lease of life under TCL Technology ownership. Last year, we witnessed the rebirth of QWERTY-keyboard smartphones with the arrival of BlackBerry Keyone. After its market performance goes well, the device is getting a successor. Based on leaked images from the State Intellectual Property Office of China (SIPO), the upcoming BlackBerry KeyTwo (Athena) will have a dual camera on its back.
As far as it concerns, the KeyTwo would follow the formula of Keyone with an integrated QWERTY keyboard under the screen. Furthermore, the device comes with a dual 16MP camera setup and dual-LED flash, which is a first for BlackBerry devices. On the other hand, the Convenience key makes its way in the middle of the right side instead of being on the left of the KeyOne.
In details, BlackBerry KeyTwo specs include a 5.99-inch LCD screen with more significant aspect ratio 16:10 and FHD resolutions of 1920 x 1080 pixels. Besides, the handset will house the grilled speaker, the USB-C charger and the 3.5 mm jack is on the top. Under the hood, the device sports Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 chipset, alongside 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM, which expands to 128GB via SD card. Also, KeyTwo device works on Android Oreo 8.0 and a 3650mAh battery. Besides, BlackBerry KeyTwo camera includes a dual 16MP rear sensor and a 13MP selfie snapper.
