BlackBerry Key2 official launched
According to our sources, the company continues to believe that there are enough smartphone users who crave for a physical keyboard. As a result, the BlackBerry KEYone was built on that notion when the BlackBerry Key2 continues from where the KEYone left off. In details, the BlackBerry KEY2 is one of the few smartphones that will offer a full-fledged physical keyboard. Besides, the length of the keyboard increased by 20%, which improves comfort and typing accuracy.
Moreover, the keys have also been arranged in a new free pattern to optimise spacing. Also, the new speed key can launch an app, or call a favourite contact or access functions from anywhere. Besides, the bezels are not very thin either, and it retains the three touch capacitive buttons. Meanwhile, the fingerprint sensor sits inside the space bar, alongside with the headphone jack.
The BlackBerry KEY2 specs include a 4.5 inch IPS LCD with a 1620 x 1080 px resolution and the 3:2 aspect ratio. Furthermore, the smartphone runs on the Snapdragon 660 chipset. Meanwhile, the SoC will be coupled with 6GB of RAM and either 64GB/128GB of onboard storage (expandable up to 256GB). Furthermore, powering the smartphone is a 3500 mAh battery with Qualcomm QuickCharge 3.0 support. Also, BlackBerry Key2 camera consists of a 12MP (f/1.8) +12MP (f/2.6) rear sensor and 8MP selfie snapper (flash for low-light selfies). Moreover, the camera at the back can record 4K videos at 30fps, and the front camera will record 1080p videos. Whereas, the device works on Android Oreo 8.1.
