BlackBerry KEY2 confirms to launch next month!

According to the company’s Twitter account, BlackBerry has confirmed the availability of the upcoming BlackBerry handset. The new BlackBerry device is the BlackBerry KEY2. Besides that, a few days ago, the BlackBerry phone appeared on TENAA with codename Athena. On the other hand, the KEY2 might come with a glossy physical keyboard and the dual rear camera setup.

Regarding the display, BlackBerry KEY2 specs include a 4.5-inch IPS LCD with a resolution of 1620 x 1080 pixels. Meanwhile, as per the listing, this phone gets power from the Qualcomm SDM660 Snapdragon 660 chipset with Adreno 512 GPU, along with 6GB RAM and 64GB ROM (expandable up to 256GB). Besides that, the upcoming BlackBerry handset runs on Android 8.1 Oreo as the operating system.

Moreover, in terms of the optics, the KEY2 camera system packs a dual 12MP (f/1.8, ½.3”) + 8MP snapper on the back with phase detection autofocus and dual-LED dual-tone flash. Besides that, the front-facing shooter sports 8MP with an aperture of f/2.0. In addition, this device rocks a non-removable Li-Ion 3360mAh battery box with fast charging support. Also, the connectivity options include GPS, NFC, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and Micro USB. On the other hand, this phone might come in two color options: Black and Silver.
