BlackBerry DTEK70: 3GB RAM, huge camera module
2017 will be the dynamic year of the smartphone market. Many smartphones are coming, from flagships, midrange to budget devices. And BlackBerry DTEK70 is one of them. If you remember, last year, the Canadian brand BlackBerry said that they would bring their three new handsets to the market. Two of them are already out – BlackBerry DTEK50 and DTEK60. Now, the third one- DTEK70- is coming.
This phone has just leaked on Weibo recently with some specs and renders. This phone used to be leaked before with the “Mercury” name. Design-wise, the handset showed up with a totally black model. As we said before, DTEK70 comes with the significant BlackBerry feature- a physical keyboard. The logo of the brand is placed in the middle of the rear panel.
In terms of BlackBerry DTEK70 specs, it is said to be powered by an octa-core SND 625 processor. There will be 3GB RAM paired with 32GB of expandable inbuilt storage. It will have a 4.2-inch screen and be backed up with a 3400mAh battery. There is still no information about cameras. However, as you can see on the render pics, this new BlackBerry phone will sport a huge camera module with dual LED flash on the top left. This could mean that the phone will come with a great main camera as well as optical zoom.
BlackBerry DTEK70: price and availability
Coming with 3GB RAM and a 3400mAh battery, we can see that this phone is aimed at the mid-range segment. It will be the tough competitor to the other handsets.
