BlackBerry Aurora Leaked: 5.5-inch, 3000mAh, …
After the release of the new BlackBerry KEYone at the MWC 2017 last weekend, images of another BlackBerry smartphone have been leaked. Unlike the KEYone, the upcoming BlackBerry Aurora will be equipped without a physical keyboard.
BlackBerry Aurora Leaked
Recent leaked images of a new BlackBerry mobile phone have appeared on the internet with the model number “BBC100-1”. In contrast to the KEYone, which was released at the MWC 2017 and is manufactured by the Chinese company TCL, the new device is to be produced by the partner company PT Merah Putih from Indonesia. Apparently, the device is also exclusively for the Indonesian market under the name “Aurora”.
However, the upcoming BlackBerry Aurora will be a “classic” smartphone again, that means it will have a “touch-only” display and no physical keyboard like its predecessor. In terms of specs, according to rumors, the device is going to sport a 5.5-inch display with the resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. Under the hood, it is said to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 chipset paired with 3GB/4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The battery has supposedly the capacity of 3000 mAh.
The Aurora is to become the first BlackBerry smartphone ever to support the use of two SIM cards at the same time. Incredibly exciting, right? But friends, even if the device should not appear in your home country, BlackBerry fans can still hope for new smartphones of this company: besides the new KEYone, TCL has already announced to release more smartphones this year! Let’s wait and see.
