1. HTC U

HTC is expected to launch its next smartphone in the U series, simply called HTC U (or HTC Ocean). HTC will come with Super LCD5 5.5 inch QHD screen and a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels and a very good density of (534 ppi). The handset will be powered by the newest Qualcomm (MSM8998) Snapdragon 835 SoC coupled with either 4GB or 6GB of RAM and Adreno 540 GPU. The HTC U will be running Android OS, v7.0 (Nougat).

Model with 4GB of RAM comes with 64GB of internal memory while the one with 6GB of RAM comes with 128GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 256GB. The HTC U is tipped to sport a 12MP (Sony IMX362) sensor at the back and a 16MP (IMX351) sensor over at the front, suggesting a selfie-focused smartphone. The latest leaks rates the battery at 3000 mAH with Quick Charge 3.0. Expected HTC’s flagship for this year will cost between $400 to $500.

2. Asus Zenfone AR (ZS571KL)

Announced for this month, on the second place of the list is the Asus Zenfone AR ZS571KL. Asus ZenFone AR packs a 5.7’’ QHD Super AMOLED display with great (515 ppi). Chipset is Snapdragon 821, 6GB or 8GB of LPDDR4 RAM, 32/64/128/256 GB of UFS 2.0 storage. Also has microSD support, 3300 mAH battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 support, and Android 7.0 Nougat. The main camera has a great 23MP, f/2.0, while the front camera is equipped with 8MP. Actual price and release date have not been shared yet, but the phone should be launched at some point of this month.

3. LG G6

LG G6 which appeared in March brings interesting specifications such as resistance to dust and water (IP68 certified). Also comes with IPS 5.7 inch QHD screen with a resolution of 1440 x 2880 pixels and excellent density of (564 ppi). The LG G6 is powered by 2.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm (MSM8996) Snapdragon 821 processor and it comes with 4GB of RAM and Adreno 530 GPU. G6 comes with 32/64GB of internal memory which is expandable up to 256GB. The primary camera is Dual 13MP while the front is 5MP. The LG G6 runs Android OS, v7.0 (Nougat) and is powered by a 3300 mAH non removable battery. Price for LG G6 is somewhere around $800.

4. HTC 10

HTC 10 is the next one. The screen is Super LCD technology 5 of QHD 5.2 inches. HTC has improved the resolution to 2560 x 1440 pixels and a pixel density to the top (565 ppi). Under the hood is a 64 bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 (MSM8996) at a maximum clock speed of 2.15 GHz, Adreno 530 (624 MHz), 4GB of dual channel RAM (1866 MHz) and 32/64GB of internal flash memory which is expandable up to 256GB. HTC 10 runs Android 6.0.1 system topped with Sense 8.0 UI. The front camera is a 5MP wide angle lens and the main camera is equipped with a 12MP aperture f/1.8. With 3000 mAH battery HTC 10 costs about $520.

5. Samsung Galaxy Note7

Samsung Galaxy Note7 has SuperAMOLED 5.7 inch screen with resolution of 1440×2560 pixels (QUAD HD) with density of (518 ppi). The Samsung Galaxy Note7 is powered by 1.6GHz octa-core Exynos 8890 processor and it comes with 4GB of RAM  along with Mali-T760 GPU. The phone packs 64GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 256GB via a microSD card. Galaxy Note7 runs Android OS, v6.0.1 (Marshmallow) with TouchWiz user interface. The main camera is a great 12MP, f/1.7 while the front has a 5MP, f/1.7. Note7 carries a Li-Ion 3500 mAH battery. The price for Galaxy Note7 is around $900.

BlackBerry DTEK60 comes with an AMOLED 5.5 inch QHD display with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels and a density of (534 ppi).
