Asus Zenfone Max Pro review

The Asus Zenfone Max Pro will be available in multiple variants including 3GB/4GB/6GB RAM and 32GB/64GB/128GB storage. In details, the device comes with an aluminium unibody design. Moreover, the Zenfone Max Pro comes with 18:9 aspect ratio and thinner bezels. Furthermore, Asus Zenfone Max Pro specs include a 5.99-inch display with the resolutions of 1080 x 2160 pixels. However, the bezels are not as thin some of the current flagships.

It is interesting to notice that the Zenfones usually work on the massively customised ZenUI, which we can find on all Asus Android smartphones. However, the Zenfone Max Pro is the first device that the company has decided to go for stock Android OS. Whereas, the handset is not entirely stock OS with are a few pre-installed apps as well. Fortunately, the OS is much lighter than ZenUI, which bodes well with the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 chipset.

On the other hand, the rear panel of the smartphone houses a vertically placed dual-camera system. In details, the dual snapper consists of a depth sensor used for portrait mode shots. Furthermore, the rear camera sports a 13MP primary sensor with a f/2.2 aperture and the depth sensor is a 5MP. The front display houses an 8MP selfie shooter with a f/2.0 aperture and an LED flash. It is noticeable that the device also comes with a rear-mounted fingerprint reader and a non-removable 5000mAh battery box.
