Asus Zenfone Max M2 Duo: what’s new?

Ever since the release of the Zenfone Max M1, many Asus fans have been looking forward to the arrival of this series’ successor. Today, Asus India has hinted about the debut of the Zenfone Max M second generation on their Twitter. In details, the brand is going to introduce up two new handsets at the upcoming event tomorrow. Notably, the new smartphones now carry the name Asus Zenfone Max M2 and Max M2 Pro. Previously, these devices had received the certification by EEC.

Firstly, the Asus Zenfone Max M2 Duo is going to be a Flipkart exclusive. Regarding the design, we believe that they come with a notched display and dual cameras. Furthermore, the bigger Asus Zenfone Max M2 Pro can also equip an in-display fingerprint sensor. Now, let’s see what Asus Zenfone Max M2 Duo can pack. Firstly, Asus Zenfone Max M2 specs include a 5.5-inch IPS LCD (720 x 1440 pixels). Meanwhile, Asus Zenfone Max M2 Pro specs pack a larger 5.99-inch IPS LCD (1080 x 2160 pixels).

Under the hood, they can take power from the Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 chipset. Regarding the storage, the Asus Zenfone Max M2 Duo can offer up to 64 GB, 4/6 GB RAM or 32 GB, 3 GB RAM. There is also a microSD card which can expand to 256GB. How about the photography system? Asus Zenfone Max M2 camera can feature a dual 13MP + 8MP rear snappers and another 8 MP lens. Meanwhile, Asus Zenfone Max M2 Pro camera can have a dual 16MP + 5MP primary sensors and another dual 16MP + 8MP front lenses. For now, there is no official news yet about the battery box.

Asus Zenfone Max M2 release date and price

As mentioned above, Asus is going to introduce these two handsets at their event tomorrow. Along with the launch event, they also provide a live stream link.
