Asus Zenfone has added a new entry-level device to their portfolio – called the Asus Zenfone C. Its phone is seemly created to be replaced its sister – the Asus Zenfone 4, but equiped much more notable upgrades in hardware compared to its previous phone.
Asus Zenfone C is introduced today in Malaysia and its all specification has already showed online as well as a few images. Therefore, it appears that its phone has almost identical design of Zenfone 4, but be featured with a bigger 4.5″ IPS display accompanied with a resolution of 480 x 854 pixels. Its phone is supported by an Intel Atom Z2520 processor, clocked at 1.2 GHz along with 1GB of RAM paired with 8GB of internal storage.
Except for remained 5MP rear camera and 0.3 MP front facing one, its phone is added a LED Flash and EIS in order to improve photos’ quality even in low light condition.
Compared to 1600 mAh battery of ASus Zenfone 4, its new phone has a powerful battery of 2100 mAh. Thanks Asus for their huge improvement. The Android 4.4-powered budget device will be available in Malaysia early next month in 3 colors: black, white and red. The first released price tag is about MYR 349 or about $97, 4275 Philippines pesos.

Updated April 16th: The handset is targeted to be the replacement of the low-cost Zenfone 4 that’s been on market since last year. The Asus Philippines was announced that the phone will be sold at PHP 4,595 and will hit the shelves next week.
