ASUS Zenfone 5Z 8GB RAM launch

At MWC2018 early this year, ASUS launched its flagship ZenFone 5Z, which is currently available in Taiwan for only 6GB. According to our sources, the company launched the 8GB version of the ASUS ZenFone 5Z in the country yesterday. Notably, the handset works on the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC. However, the Asus phone gets the same price as Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 ASUS ZenFone 4 Pro.

Regarding Asus Zenfone 5Z 8GB RAM specs, the flagship comes with a 6.2-inch fullscreen with a resolution of 2246×1080 pixels. Under the hood, the Asus phone equipped with 8GB LPDDR4X memory +256GB UFS flash memory. Whereas, the Asus Zenfone 5Z features a pre-installed ZenUI based on Android 8.0 system. Also, the Asus phone battery capacity comes at 3300mAh capacity.

Apart from the flagship level configuration, the camera is another highlight of the aircraft. Concerning the ASUS Zenfone 5Z camera, the rear sensor is a 12MP+ 8MP dual lens, whose lens is Sony IMX363 with the unit pixel area of 1.4μm. Also, the camera supports Dual PD dual-core focus and four-axis OIS optical protection. Whereas, the aperture comes at f/1.8 and RAW output. On the other side, the front lens is an 8-megapixel camera, and the sensor is OV8856.

Available from August 1st, the Asus Zenfone 5Z 8GB RAM price was $609 ~ Rs. 41, 781. Moreover, it is also worth mentioning that the 8GB version of the aircraft is currently priced at Rs. 36,999 ~ $539 in India.
