Since the first debut at the Mobile World Congress 2018, ASUS officially launched the ZenFone 5 for its home fans in Taiwan. Besides, the smartphone was also unveiled in China this week. In details, ZenFone 5 is no doubt a well-designed smartphone with the much popularity design. From what we learn so far, the ZenFone 5 has a double-sided glass design with 2.5D curved Corning Gorilla Glass and a metal frame between them. On the other hand, the Zenfone has a notch display design similar to the iPhone X but smaller. Furthermore, the device features a 6.2-inch Super IPS LCD FHD+ display with an aspect ratio of 19:9 and a resolution of 2246 x 1080 pixels. Besides, the screen has up to 90% screen-to-body ratio.
According to our sources, the Zenfone 5 is one of the first models to be powered by the new Snapdragon 636 chipset (same as Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 (Chinese edition) and Meizu E3). Besides, the handset has an internal storage of 64GB (expandable to 1TB). Whereas, Zenfone 5 expects to arrive in Taiwan in 4GB and 6GB RAM options.
