ASUS ROG Phone 2 specs
After the 1st ROG Gaming Phone launch, the Taiwanese company now reportedly is working on the next-generation of this gaming smartphone dubbed ROG Phone 2. Ahead of the official launch, they also unveiled the chipset of this smartphone. In details, the ROG gaming phone could be the first phone with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus chipset. It still features a Qualcomm Kryo 485 CPU with a clock speed up to 2.96GHz and Qualcomm Adreno 640 GPU.
On the other side, the ROG gaming flagship phone has 12GB RAM and 256GB of onboard storage which can be upgradable up to 512GB via a MicroSD card. Moving on to the display, the beast specs flaunt a 6-inch AMOLED with a resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels. Besides, in terms of the software system, this gaming phone is going to work on the latest Android 9.0 Pie as the operating system. Keeping the light on is a decent 4000mAh juice box.
Next, let’s talk about the optics system. The ROG Phone 2 camera can pack a triple 12MP sensors set up on the rear. Meanwhile, this phone has a single 8MP selfie shooter.
Release date and price
According to the previous report, the company is gearing up to launch the second gaming phone on July 23rd.
