Last year, Asus announced its gaming smartphone named ASUS ROG Phone. Now, the brand is planning to introduce its second-generation gaming phone at an event in Beijing China on July 23rd. From what we learned so far, the company has already unveiled its partnership with Tencent Games for the creation of the next generation ROG gaming phone. This phone comes in two versions.
According to the previous report, the ROG Phone 2 gaming phone can feature a 120Hz refresh rate. Besides, this phone also gets power from Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset, paired with amazing 12GB of RAM. How about internal storage? The ROG Phone 2 gaming smartphone sports 128GB/ 256GB of onboard storage which can be expandable up to 512GB via a MicroSD card.
Moving on to the display, the ROG Phone 2 phone has a 6-inch AMOLED with a resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels. Furthermore, this phone offers a cooling system and a glowing ASUS logo, like its predecessor. On the other side, the ASUS phone ships with Android 9.0 Pie. The powerhouse of the ROG Phone 2 phone is a decent 4000mAh battery cell. Under the hood, the ROG Phone 2 camera can rock a triple camera set up with a 12MP IMX363 sensor. As for capturing selfies, there is a single 8MP lens.
