After concentrating on desktop computers for years, the gamer-centric Asus branding is now making its way to mobile today. After Razer, ASUS has announced the ASUS ROG Phone, which is the brand’s first “gaming phone”, with monstrous 8GB RAM and 4000mAh battery. Check it out below!
ASUS ROG gaming beast
According to our legit sources, ASUS has gone many more steps ahead of Razer with its new gaming phone. In details, the Asus beast features the game aesthetic that plagues every gaming-centric computer out there. On the other hand, the front is all glass with notches at the top and bottom for a pair of stereo speakers. On the rear, there arrives a dual camera system and a sideways ASUS ROG logo.
Furthermore, there are a USB-C port and a headphone jack at the bottom. Meanwhile, the side port is for charging while gaming in order not to interfere with your hand. Moreover, the headphone jack supports 24-bit/192Khz Hi-Res Audio playback. Besides, there are three ultrasonic sensitive pressure zones. One is to optimise performance and activate the AeroActive Cooler. Whereas, the other two are on the two corners in landscape mode.
Concerning Asus ROG specs, the gaming phone packs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845, which clocks up to 2.96GHz instead of the usual 2.8GHz. On the other hand, the storage comes with 8GB of RAM and a choice of either 128GB or 512GB of storage. Whereas, the battery is a sizable 4000mAh with ASUS “HyperCharge” 20W fast charging. Furthermore, there arrives a 6-inch, 18:9 AMOLED panel with a resolution of 2160×1080 pixels. According to our sources, Asus ROG camera expects to include a dual 16MP+13MP camera. Whereas, the selfie camera works with a 13MP sensor.
ASUS ROG release date and price
