Another ASUS ROG 2.0 beast comes through with a badass design and massive 8GB RAM. Read on for more information about this premium gaming flagship!
ASUS ROG 2.0
Recently, Concept Creator has released a new video concept for ASUS ROG 2.0. As seen in the clip, the device keeps its badass looking part at the back and covers in glass. It also implements two rear cameras, but with a different design compared to the current model. We would describe the patterns and inscriptions of the back side as totemic, tribal, minimal, Klingon even, etc. Besides, the two speakers above and below the screen feel like they are there as an afterthought, as they slide from the top and bottom of the device.
Perhaps it is somewhat similar to the Oppo Find X? Anyways, we even get to see the inbuilt of the device, with all the camera components exposed. The device is just as beefy as the predecessor and it comes with a 4K display this time. The device is certainly better looking than the first generation ROG, with a narrower bezel screen and sans notch. It fits the fingerprint scanner inside the display by the way. One thing that may bother you is that glass is usually rather fragile and a gaming phone is prone to brutality, drops and hits.
As for the specs info, ASUS ROG 2.0 specs sport a 6-inch, 18:9 AMOLED panel with a resolution of 2160×1080 pixels. Moreover, the ROG Phone comes with 8GB of RAM and a choice of either 128GB or 512GB of storage (no card slot). Additionally, it has a 4500mAh battery box with ASUS “HyperCharge” 20W fast charging. On top of that, ASUS ROG 2.0 camera includes a dual 16MP+13MP camera. Whereas, the selfie camera works with a 13MP sensor. Lastly, the ASUS handset comes running on Android 8.0 Oreo operating system!
ASUS ROG 2.0 release date and price
Too bad this is just a concept so the release date and price are not really in the picture. However, the current ASUS ROG Phone 2 is going to hit US market in 2019. As for the cost, the ASUS ROG price can begin at $580 ~ Rs. 38952. Gaming lovers, are you going to save up and purchase this handset? Drop a comment to let us know!
