This mysterious Asus new smartphone was spotted on GFXBench with a model number of Z01B. It is said that the Z01B number refers to the Zenfone 2 Laser ZE500KL. From GFXBench specs sheet, the Asus new smartphone will flaunt a 5.5-inch full HD display along with at least 5 fingers gesture support. This handset is much similar to the latest Asus smartphone Zenfone 3 which has Corning Gorilla Glass 3 to protect its touch screen.

Moving on Asus new smartphone specs, considering the Adreno 505 GPU, it must be either the Snapdragon 430 or Snapdragon 435 will be sported in tow. It also packs 2GB of RAM alongside an octa-core processor clocked at 1.4GHz. One more resemblance between Asus new smartphone and Zenfone 3, they both run on Android Mashmallow, which is believed to be updated to the latest Android N.

As far as the cameras are concerned, Asus new smartphone boasts a combo of 12MP/7MP shooters on the rear and the front.
