Apple WWDC 2017 shows a lot of surprises: New OS, New Devices and more
Firstly, in this year Apple WWDC 2017, the company introduced two new OS, watchOS 4 for smartwatches and macOS High Sierra for Apple computers. Both have vast improvements, the most notable being High Sierra’s support for VR gear now. Talking about Apple computers, the iMac and MacBook Air and Pro also have new updates, with new generation Intel chipset for the Pro, and increased the speed of the MacBook Air’s chip. iMac also has a powerful new processor, alongside 5K display!
Next is probably the most important announcement of Apple, the introduction of iOS 11. iOS has been the backbone of Apple’s most successful product, the iPhone. For this new iOS version, there are going to be massive updates. The most notable are, of course, VR integration. It also introduces a new P2P payment system that can rival other services like PayPal. Apple is also going to improve the OS layout and functionalities as well. It is truly the iOS to anticipate! We expect iOS 11 to launch in September along with the new iPhone 8.
Also in the event was the introduction of the new iPad Pro 10.5. It features the all new Apple A10X chipset, alongside a brighter display and faster refresh rate, which give big improvements for display quality. The iPad Pro 12.9 is going to have these updates as well. Last but not least is the new Apple HomePod Speaker. It is a smart speaker that integrates closely with Siri. The result? You can play music, check the traffic, control your smart utilities, etc. That is so awesome!
