New iPhone model: 5.8 inch and OLED display
According to Digitimes, Apple is planning on producing a bigger model of iPhone, which will feature a 5.8 inch OLED display. Ever since we heard that Apple had the intention to adapt OLED screen for their smartphone, the internet has been guessing when it will be ready to launch. If it’s true to what we are guessing, we will soon see this new option on iPhone soon. The time could be right now or any time in the near future.
Also in the same article, Digitimes mentioned that, the 5.8 inch iPhone could be named iPhone Pro. No further word about the iPhone Pro specs, or its design has been unveiled. However, from what we know about Apple, it won’t be too much to say iPhone Pro will have an awesome design with premium rears and a classy look. However, looks like we will not see iPhone Pro with 5.8 inch display any time sooner than 2017.
For the time being, Apple is believed to debut their rumored 4.7 inch handset, the iPhone SE, on March 21st. Apple iPhone SE will run over A9 chipset. The chip was ranked 2nd in the list of top 10 smartphone processors, by Antutu several days earlier, and only behind Snapdragon 820 by Qualcomm.
