Apple vs Samsung: Apple to become more and more like Samsung?
The battle between Apple vs Samsung has never stopped, as they are two strongest giants fighting with each other to reach the top of the smartphone market. But according to some latest reports, Apple seems to strategically follow Samsung’s footprints.
Apple vs Samsung: The race between technologies
You all already knew that the later half of this year will witness the debut of two brand-new devices – Samsung Galaxy Note 7 and iPhone 7. Both Apple vs Samsung must have been working really hard to find better ways to promote their own devices. However, Apple seems to look further than just a battle between iPhone 7 and Samsung Galaxy Note 7. According to Kevin Wong, the CEO of IHS China, the next product of Apple will be iPhone 8, instead of iPhone 7s. Many renowned strategists have commented that by skipping iPhone 7s, Apple has been trying to keep up with Samsung, as this Korean brand has also skipped Galaxy Note 6 this year.
Moreover, Kevin Wong hinted that the next smartphone of Apple in 2017 will feature a flexible screen – a technology that Samsung has been applying in the Edge family. So this is another evidence of how competitive Apple is in the battle between Apple vs Samsung. In that case, the next flexible display device of Apple will feature a OLED screen instead, because LCD technology doesn’t allow bending. Moreover, according to Ming-Chi Kuo, a famous Apple analyst, there would be no dramatic changes in iPhone 7 specs as well as iPhone 7 design. In that case, the new technology of flexible screen could possibly be featured in iPhone 8.
Speaking of iPhone 7 specs, as reported in TrendForce, there will be two variants: 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch, both offering a massive internal storage of 256GB. This website also hinted that iPhone 7 Plus will be powered by 3GB RAM and a dual-lens camera on the back. Meanwhile, iPhone 7 will pack only 2GB RAM, single-lens camera. Regarding Samsung Galaxy Note 7 specs, there hasn’t been any offical information. However, we bet that Note 7 will definitely surprise us! So who wins in the battle between Apple vs Samsung? Let’s wait and see.
Apple vs Samsung: The race between prices and release dates
Obviously, most products from the two giants are aimed at high-end market segments.
