HMD has confirmed multiple times that all its Nokia branded smartphones will get the Android P update for quite a while now. In fact, the company recently launched a Beta program in China for the owners of Nokia 6 2018, Nokia 7, Nokia 7 plus and Nokia 8 Sirocco. However, there was no information on the availability of the update’s release date. Well, that changes now, as users are informed that the rollout will begin anytime after July.

As you can see in the source, the information comes on behalf of Nokia Mobile Care. In an email sent out to a user, the support staff gave August as the time frame when Android P will launch to Nokia devices. Let’s check out the Nokia 7 plus specs again while we are waiting! In terms of the display, this phone features a large 6-inch IPS LCD with a tall 18:9 ratio and a resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels.

Moreover, the Nokia device gets power from the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor, along with 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM; which is expandable up to 256GB. In addition, the Nokia camera system packs a dual 12MP (f/1.8) + 12MP (f/2.6) rear sensor and a single 16MP front-facing lens (f/2.0). Meanwhile, this phone equips a non-removable Li-Ion 3800mAh juice box with fast charging support. Besides that, this device runs on Android 8.1 Oreo and Android One. The Nokia phone was available in March 2018. As for the cost, the Nokia 7 Plus price starts at $383 ~ Rs. 25, 999.
