Android P release date reportedly falls in August: What’s new?!

Previously, Google has continuously released many Android P beta version on various devices. Just last week, the US company unveiled the final Android P Developer Preview on Pixel and PH phones. The Android P Beta update includes “a release candidate build with final system behaviours. Additionally, there is also the official Android P APIs (API level 28)”. This means that the latest Beta is almost 100% the final build of Android P, hence the name a ‘release candidate’.

Here are some of the changes it is going to arrive. In details, Android P comes with native support for screen notches of varying shapes and sizes. Smart replies setting is directed to third-party apps. And the new operating system version has a manageable dialogue to prompt users for any supported type of biometric authentication. Besides, Adaptive Battery option uses machine learning to prioritise system resources for the apps you care about the most.

App actions use machine learning to surface apps at just the right time, based on that app’s semantic intents and the context. Slices surface rich, templated content cards in Google Search and Assistant, interactively. New multi-camera APIs let developers access streams simultaneously from two or more cameras. This enables third-party apps to create seamless zoom, bokeh, and stereo vision, depending on the hardware available. Today, we finally have more news on the Android P release date.
