Android P beta arrives on various handsets with great features!

Today, Google has unveiled more details about their Android P operating system with various features! Here are what we think are the highlights of this OS! First, Android P comes with the new gesture-based navigation. With this new system, your handset receives a pill-shaped Home button and an on-demand Back button which doesn’t show up on the home screen. Furthermore, smartphone users don’t have to tap or perform any actions.

Next, we have the Adaptive Battery function. The feature learns to discover which apps you use most, and which you’re likely to use in the next few hours. As a result, it can prioritise your battery power only for those, and help prevent other apps from taking up your capacity. On the other hand, there is also the Adaptive Brightness from Android P beta. You can manually adjust the slider and then automatically re-apply it in the future on your smartphones.

Other Android P beta feature is the Predicted actions. The new operating system adds predicted actions inside apps. In details, it can be something such as calling a specific contact, starting a workout inside a fitness app or resuming your favourite Spotify playlist when you have connected your headphones. Finally, we have the Digital wellbeing features. When installing the Android P beta, you will see a new Dashboard. This pop-up shows you how much time you’ve spent on other apps. Furthermore, it also reveals how many times you unlocked your handset, and how many notifications you have received.
