Android Nougat release date: this month?

2014’s Android Lollipop only came with one preview version only. Meanwhile, there were three preview versions of Android Marshmallow! And now with 2016’s Android Nougat, the fifth and final preview has been released earlier last month! So it looks like Google is really pushing hard on this new Android OS! Typically the final version of this OS will not arrive until October, but with such agressive development schedule, we expect that Android Nougat release date will be a bit earlier this year!

Moreover, a recent post on Reddit also shares that one Nexus 6P user was unexpectedly pushed to Android 7.0 build NRD90M when he was attempting to ditch the Nougat preview and return to Android Marshmallow! In case you don’t know, R in the code stands for “release”! This is another sign that the new OS will arrive very very soon!

So how about Google Nexus 6P? Traditionally Google releases its new OS along side with a Nexus device! But we all know that Nexus 6P has been released already earlier this year! So either the brand are going to break their own tradition, or another Nexus phone is coming!
