Lately, we have gossips about the next generation of Google branded operating system. You may know what it is. Android N is engaged in Google progress since recently Android has been making some big moves to make it more capable and competitive.
Android N: it is just N or something else!
Android N is an upcoming version of the Android operating system. There will be 5 Android N previews before the final release in the third quarter of 2016. An updated preview is released each month. In May, Google revealed that for the first time they would offer a chance for the public to make suggestions for the name of the next version of Android – Android 7.
Traditionally, Google loves using sweet treats to name its Android OS. We have known about Android Mashmallow, Android Lollipop, Android Kitkat, and even Ice Cream Sandwich for years. That got us here to see what will Android 7 be called? There were some sayings that N in Android N means “No, Google has not picked a name yet”. But now those statements seem no longer correct because of some huge hints given by Hiroshi Lockheimer – current head of Android and Chrome OS.
Hiroshi has mentioned “Nutella” for 3 times on his Twitter since February. These Vice-President’s tweets are leading many people to believe that the upcoming Android N will be named: Nutella. It may be the Android Nutella or may be not. We still have to wait. Personally I love Nutella and would like to have Android Nutella in my handset too.
