Just last week, Google finally unveiled their latest Android operating system under the name Android 9.0 Pie. Since then, many smartphone manufacturers have begun to announce their update schedules. Out of many brands, Sony has been one of the first to catch up with this new version of the OS. In details, the Japanese company promised that the OTA update is going to arrive on their devices as early as this September.
Moreover, Sony stated that a total of six smartphones is going to receive the upgrade. We have the three Sony Xperia XZ2 devices: Xperia XZ2, XZ2 compact and XZ2 Premium. Moreover, there is also the two Sony Xperia XZ1 and XZ1 compact. Lastly, the Sony Xperia XZ Premium is the sixth name on the list. Let’s start with the first one – Adaptive Battery! The program can figure out which apps you use less, then cut off resources to them to make your battery last longer.
