Acer Swift 7 – the world’s slimmest laptop with 8GB RAM
At IFA event in Berlin, Acer has launched a new laptop called Acer Swift 7. This device beats all touch rivals from HP and Apple, and become the slimmest laptop in the world. Let’s see what the new Acer laptop looks like!
Acer Swift 7 – the world’s slimmest laptop
Acer Swift comes with 9.98 mm of thickness. Previously, the ” slimmest laptop title” belongs to HP Spectre with just 10.4 mm of thickness. Next to it is a representative from Apple: the Apple 12-inch MacBook (12 mm). So, with an incredibly slim design, Acer Swift 7 beats all tough rivals and become the slimmest laptop in the world.
Despite a super slim body, Acer Swift 7 still has a big battery capacity, which allows it to work in about 9 hours. Besides, the laptop features 13.3-inch IPS panel display with full HD resolution (1080 x 1920 p). Under the hood, the Acer laptop is powered by the new Kaby Lake chipset coming from Intel core i7 generation. This new chipset promises more efficiently battery life and smoother video playing. Acer Swift 7 packs 8GB RAM and 256GB of SSD storage Besides, it supports USB Type C 3.1 ports, together with a headphone jack.
Apart from Acer Swift 7, the company also brings users two new laptops. The Swift 3 is a mid-range laptop with a 14-inch display, 18mm thick, and core i7 chipset. The Swift 5 comes with the same 14-inch display, and core i7 chipset as well, but it is slimmer, at 15 mm thick.

Generally, the Acer Swift 7 price and launch date depend on your country. However, the laptop will be available in the US and Europe in October. For those countries, Acer Swift 7 price is $999.
