Who is standing behind Nokia comeback?

As you know, Microsoft is producing Lumia smartphones. Many people expect the biggest software giant can bring a new life for Nokia brand. But all Microsoft got a failure. Still, Nokia will come to the smartphone market again, but in a different way. From recent reports, Nokia phones will be continued manufacturing by Foxconn.

That is a little confusion, but all we should know is: Nokia will come back this year with many surprises. And there are at least two companies which stand behind the Nokia comeback: Foxconn and HMD. Foxconn bought the Nokia feature phone from Microsoft earlier this year. Now, the company intends to take Nokia back to high-end segment. Meanwhile, HMD-a generated firm of Nokia phones, will get brand licensing and patent access in exchange for royalty payments.

Besides, Nokia has recently appointed new CEO.  Rantala land at this position again since he left Nokia in 2011. After being appointed, he announced that Nokia is preparing carefully for a come back this year. And the first Nokia phone will run Android OS.

Nokia comeback: a New Success or a Next Failure?

Nokia is renewing the management system but is that enough to rebirth this old brand? We’ll just have to wait and see. But there is a lot of Nokia lovers that would love to see the brand back with the revenge. As Rantala told: “I love Nokia, I love what it stands for and I’d love to see it rise again.”  And Android is definitely the weapon Nokia needs to fight to its enemies! What do you think about that?
