Galaxy Note 7: the first waterproof Note
The first thing makes Note 7 is worth waiting for is the waterproof feature. This feature is not a strange spec on smartphones today. Galaxy S7 (Edge) from the company is a typical example for the waterproof phone. However, there has been no Note sporting this spec. So, with the water resistance, the next Note generation from Samsung will be the first Note to have this. The second reason is a USB Type C-port. You can see this type of USB in many flagships in the market, but Samsung devices. And now, the Korea brand finally decided to equip its phablet a USB Type-C connector.
Thirdly, you’ll see a new Note UX for a new S pen on this handset. Samsung is developing a new TouchWiz interface model. And Samsung new device will be the one having this version with the name of Note UX. The interface of this version is similar to TouchWiz. The icons are still smooth and consistent. However, in this UX, you are not able to see Action Memo or S Note anymore. These two apps are merged into one app called Notes. There’ll also a blue light in the status bar toggles. Not only Note 7, its predecessor- Galaxy Note 5- is reported to have this interface soon.
The fourth cool feature which can make you love this handset is the color. Samsung devices usually come with some typical colors like Gold, Silver, Pink, White or Black. However, now this Note 7 is gonna show up with a brand new and unique color: Blue Coral. Besides, there will be some more color versions such as Gold or Silver. And this year, the S Pens will also have the same outfit with the devices.
Gorilla Glass 5 makes debut on the Galaxy Note 7
Last but not least- Corning Gorilla Glass 5. Yes, Galaxy Note 7’s 5.7-inch 2K display will be protected by the 5th generation of the tough cover. With Gorilla Glass 5, the Note will be improved in the drop performance. This Glass can handle 80% when dropped in the height of 1.6 meters. The Korea representative said that Note 7 will be the debut of Gorilla Glass 5. So, now you can understand why Galaxy Note 7 is worth waiting for.
