6GB RAM Galaxy S8 will only be available in China?
Back in January, there were rumors that the Samsung Galaxy S8 will have a 6GB RAM variant. Now, a new rumor is suggesting that the 6GB RAM model will only be available in China, ruling out its launch in any other market. The rumor came from a Weibo post by Kevin Wong. Kevin is the research director of IHS for China. The post says that the international variant of the handset will only be available in 4GB RAM option.
Samsung still hasn’t confirmed about anything yet. But if this actually happens, the Korean brand may lose some of its international fans due to favoring China. But RAM is not the biggest factor of a phone performance, so don’t expect anything special even if the 6GB RAM is on sale worldwide. Processor is the most important feature you should look for on a phone. And the Galaxy S8 is now known as the fastest phone in the world thanks to the Exynos 8895 chipset.
To recap, Galaxy S8 specs include a 5.8″ 2K display with a Snapdragon 835 octa-core under the hood. The phone will also offer 4GB RAM and 64/128GB ROM. As for Galaxy S8 cameras, the device is mounted with a 12MP f/1.7 back snapper and an 8MP f/1.7 selfie shooter. It will be powered by a non-removable 3000mAh battery.
