Xiaomi is well-known for creating affordable handsets. Most of their smartphone are usually remarkably compared to some other similarly-spec on the market. Xiaomi have been attending to be the biggest smartphone makers within 10 yeas, absolutely beasts out Apple as well as Samsung. Therefore, the company is trying to expand their portfolio, both in low-cost, mid-end and high-end flagship smartphones.
Back in December, we heard about 399 Yuan Xiaomi phone which supports 4G LTE. This phone got the TENAA certification in China also, meaning its appearance will come soon. Needless to say, 4G LTE at that price, it extremely seems significantly good for us thanks to Xiaomi investment in the Chinese semiconductor CPU company leadcore. The company don’t confirm anything at the time though, despite a bunch of salts and leaks so far. But well, now we have some reliably additional information regarding this handset.
Therefore, a new report coming from China claims that this device will launch at the end of this month, and that it will cost 399, $63 or PHP 2787. The current information fits the previous report. Leadcore SoCs is extremely impressive, so the handset might be the cheapest Xiaomi one to date.
According to our previous reports the new 399 Yuan phone will report a 4.7″ HD, a quad-core Cortex A7 processor accompanied with a dual-core Mali T628GPU. From the images from TENAA, we learnt that the new phone will have similar design with the Redmi 1S along with 4G LTE. In addition to, its specs contain a 720p display, 1 GB of RAM and the Leadcore 1860 CPU. The Leadcore 1860 is built by 28nm Cortex A7 structure and can be theoretically clocked up to 2GHZ and has the Mali T628 GPU. While the Leadcore 1860 can theoretically support 2K displays and 1080p FULL HD videos, also not likely in a 63USD device. A good bargain!!!
Conclusion: Only 63 USD for 4G LTE, amazing deal. The matter is that when the phone exactly hit the shelves. If Xiaomi really succeed to create a low cost device like this, it will sell like hotcakes for sure. What do you think? Do you want it?
