Xiaomi Mi6
Possibly the best “Mi” of the top 5 Xiaomi smartphones at the moment. The device may not have the striking design of many other flagships. The 3.5mm headphone jack is removed instead of the physical home button. But it still the best “Mi” out there. The Mi6 make up for its lack in look with powerful specs at a more affordable price (Rs 23,999). The fingerprint scanner embedded in the home button is quick and accurate.
Closer inspection of the hardware shows a 5.15-inch screen but with multitouch and 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution. The screen is a little bit small, but the image quality is nice and sharp. Performance-wise, the device even has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset and 6GB RAM to work with. So in term of raw processing power, the Mi6 is on par with most of the flagships of 2017.
Xiaomi Mi 5x
Incoming in late 2017, this device comes in a more conventional size with a 5.5-inch screen and HD resolution (1080 x 1920 pixels). The Xiaomi Mi 5x is going to feature the Snapdragon 625 chipset as core processor. Regarding memory, the phone sports a 4GB RAM with two storage option: 32 or 64GB. And on top of that, the camera is pretty good as well. It’s a dual camera with 12MP sensors capable of 2x optical zoom. In short, the Mi 5x is a decent phone for quite an affordable price (Rs. 16,000).
Xiaomi Redmi Note 4
Different from the other two, the Redmi Note 4 focus more on being a mobile phone than a hand-held device. That means 4100 mAh battery capacity to blast to a day of heavy use with ease. Accompany the large battery are decent specs for mobile gaming. A 5.5-inch display with HD resolution. Qualcomm SnapDragon 625 chipset for the processor and 4GB RAM/64GB ROM. All in all, a pretty good phone consider the fact that it was released in early 2017.
Xiaomi Mi Mix
First appeared in October 2016, this device is Xiaomi’s attempt at their own Phablet. Even now, the Mi Mix is still doing pretty well on the market. The device was well received. At first, 6.4-inch seems too big and out of proportion. But that big number is more because of width than length. And The Xiaomi Mix comes with 1080 x 2040 pixels resolution. About performance, the phone has the Snapdragon 821 for the processor and 6GB RAM to work with. So in a word, the phrase “bigger and better” actually describes the Mi Mix.
Xiaomi Mi Mix 2
Since the first implement did so well, why not continue down the line. Although not released yet, The Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 is the successor to the 2016 device. According to the leaks, the screen remains at 6.4-inch, but the resolution gets an upgrade to Quad HD (1440 x 2560 pixels). For the processor, it is also upgraded to the Snapdragon 835 chipset to be more in line with the current trend.
