3GHz and better image processing by 70%: Exynos 8895 chipset
The Samsung Galaxy S8 planned to be released next year and is said to include Exynos 8895 chipset. The new chipset is expected to improve the speed of image processing and CPU clock speed.
Allegedly, Exynos 8895 chipset will makes everything run faster
Current models of Samsung Galaxy phones (S7, S7 Edge, Note 7) are all have Exynos 8890 chips. As Samsung Galaxy S8 planned to be out next year, the Samsung smartphone is expected to have an improved chipset as well: Exynos 8895. According to the information from China, the chip will boost up the image processing by 1.7 times and improve the clock speed to trun as fast as 3.0GHz.
The information source also leaked that the Exynos 8895 chipset will be the first chipset to be produced using the special 10nm process. Furthermore, the chip is expected to have low power usage by running at maximum power draw of no bigger than 5 watts. According to the information source, the Exynos 8895 chipset allegedly tested on Geekbench, scored 2301 on single-core test and scored 7019 on multi-core test which indicate good performance.
If all the information that were leaked turn out to be true, we will be looking at a better version of Samsung Galaxy models with faster processor. This will be really good news for all those specs that need faster running image processing. Therefore, we hope that this new chipset will be paired up with better camera specs and features to make full use of Exynos 8895 capability.
Hopefully to be released together with Samsung Galaxy S8 next year
The improved Exynos 8895 chipset is hoped to be released together with Samsung Galaxy S8 next year, and we are really looking forward to it! Although, we hope that with the new phone specs, there will be some counter measures against the exploding batteries that we are seeing in Samsung Galaxy Note 7 models. Let us know what do you think about this news leak.
