“That number is the largest that we’ve ever recorded since we began measuring it three or so years ago. It’s a huge number and we’re very, very proud of that number”
Tim Cook – Apple CEO said in response to a recent report.
So what is the report, which “number” is so large that could make Apple CEO “very proud of”? Well, the company has just received such good news from official reports about their revenue and profits in Q3 2015.
Android users VS iPhone users: the report is real
This means, more and more Android users are not stopping to buy Google-based devices, instead switch for iOS. According to Apple, this shift has been the most remarkable they have ever witness in the last 3 years.
Needless to say, Tim Cook in particular, and Apple company in general, is more than happy about the tendency. Especially when every time they launch a new smartphone, they always get all the controversies and mixed comments from users around the world. Earlier, we mentioned that there are more and more Android users switching to iPhone devices.
But there is nothing that is more convincing than a proven statistics. That is why, with this report, Apple can now keep their head high in this tough world of never-stop-changing smartphone battle!
More iPhone users are ex-Android users >> the reasons
There are a couple of reasons for this tendency. First of all, Q4 2015 includes the sale time of iPhone 6S and 6S Plus, which created the crazy hit in the market worldwide. (Yes, and why iPhone 6S and 6S Plus sell that much is still an open-ended question). Secondly, it seems like Android devices have been involved in more than one issue with viruses, hacking and lack of security system. Next, personally speaking, I find that, Apple users are usually very contented with their choice, which could have influenced their fellow Android users to question theirs and shoot a try.
Do you know any people (or yourself) that are ex- Android users who switched to iPhone users ? Or vice versa? What are their experience and feed backs so far?
