2019 Apple iPhone to drop the iconic “notch” from iPhone X flagship!
Before iPhone X, the smartphone community has raised many questions that whether this handset is going to be different from the usual iPhone handset. And then with the arrival of a never-before notch, we all wonder what purpose it would serve. However, after a couple of months, Apple iPhone X’s notch has officially become one of the hottest trends for 2018 smartphones.
On the other hand, many iPhone fans have thought that this feature is going to have a permanent stay in the upcoming iPhone. However, the latest report might prove us wrong. Recently, a media channel from Koran – South Korea’s Electronic Times – has stated that the 2018 Apple iPhone is going to drop the notch design. Instead, the next generation of Apple iPhone is going to have a display which completely “fill the front”.
Furthermore, the statement brings in many suggestions for future iPhone design. In details, with a completely bezel-less display, Apple is likely to embed all the sensors under the screen. Furthermore, the front camera is going to be inside the display. Additionally, the 2019 Apple iPhone retains its FaceID feature and make use of the BM (Black Matrix) area within their displays. However, we haven’t seen any patents from Apple for embedding sensors and selfie camera under the screen. Notably, Samsung also possesses one license with the similar design. With two tech giants aiming for this design, there is a high chance that “all-screen” display can be the next trend in the smartphone world!
