The list was announced by ACSI (American Customer Satisfaction Index), which gives scores to smartphones over a 100-scale. The scores are generated from a recent ACSI’s nationwide poll, reflecting what the real reactions are. This also indicates which mobiles are having the best popularity in 2016 thus far. Topping the list is, Galaxy Note 5 by Samsung, with 86/100 points. This could be surprising to many of us, because the majority would think that, in the US market, iPhone would always a dominating choice.

Ranked 2nd on the list is iPhone 6s Plus with 85/100 points, followed by Galaxy S6 Edge+ and Galaxy Note 4 – both by Samsung and bot got 84 points. On the forth position is iPhone 6S, which is just one point below. So you can notice that, top 5 popular smartphones in the list belong to either Samsung or Apple. It is rather interesting to say that, out of hundreds, if not thousands choices, US users still fall for the more well-known models by 2 of the biggest producers worldwide.
