In details, this processor built with an Extreme UltraViolet (EUV) process. Furthermore, it will be produced at the TSMC foundries.

Based on the listing, the Kirin 985 still remains a 7nm chipset. However, the new EUV enhancement is going to allow for 20% greater transistor density. As a result, the hardware can be marketed at 7+ nm. Furthermore, the benefits of the EUV will become more pronounced as nodes get smaller (e.g. 5nm).
