Recently, Evan Blass – an expert, posted to his Twitter a very interesting news. Samsung is developing a new product code-named SM-N950. This just might be the Galaxy Note of the new generation called Galaxy S8.

Galaxy S8: a successor of the Galaxy S7

Previously, Samsung also has indirectly confirmed the existence of the Galaxy Note 8. When the customers in Korea returned their handsets, they would receive incentives to upgrade to Galaxy Note 8 later.  Also in the post, we spotted a code name SM-N950. If you are familiar with the way Samsung name their handset, you will know that it refers to the Note 8. This proves that the company is proceeding to implement their plan with the new flagship.

After the debut of the Galaxy S6 and S6 edge in 2015, Samsung continued to launch two versions of the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge in 2016. Thus, there will be no surprise if they launch the S8 and S8 edge in the next year. As in the post, Even Blass also revealed about the two versions called Galaxy S8, that is SM – G950 (Galaxy S8) and SM – G955 (Galaxy Edge S8). Thus, Samsung will skip the model named SM-G94x and SM-N94x. To explain for this reason, it might be the spiritual factors because some Asian countries think that number 4 is not a lucky number. And as you can see, they had a hard year involving many explosion incidents.

According to some latest information, S8 and S8 Galaxy Edge will own a 5.8-inch screen and a 6.2 inch screen respectively. Thanks to  borderless technology, Galaxy S8 promises to feature an equal size as the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge today. With its large screen size, Samsung hopes to attract a large number of users from Galaxy Note7, which was dead last month.
