Samsung Galaxy Folder 2: 2GB RAM flip phone is coming

After Galaxy Folder last year, Samsung decided to bring another flip phone to the market this year- Galaxy Folder 2. A few days ago, this phone spotted on TENNA with many specs. Now, this phone continues to be leaked. Some images of this handset have shown up online. As you can see in the pictures, Folder 2 looks similar to its predecessor. The images also show the Antutu scores of this device- 23434. With these scores, Folder 2 is aimed at the mid-range segment.

As the successor, Galaxy Folder 2 specs are better than the original one. Under the hood, the phone is powered by a 1.4Ghz SND 425 chipset. It packs 2GB of RAM paired with 16GB of expandable inbuilt storage. About the camera, the company will add an 8MP primary camera which is the same as the main camera of Galaxy Folder. However, the secondary cam of Folder 2 comes with 5MP. This feature on Folder is just 2MP. Compared to Folder camera, It is backed up with a 1950mAh battery life.

The upcoming Samsung phone will come with a 3.8-inch touchscreen display with the resolution of 480 x 800px. This screen display is the same as the one from Galaxy Folder. This Folder 2 will run on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS.

With all those specs above, this new phone from Galaxy is aimed at the affordable segment. Last year, Galaxy Folder brought a huge success to the company.
